These prints were made by carving and printing one color layer at a time from the same block of linoleum. The impermanence of the block, the minimalism of material usage to create a colorful image are compelling aspects of this process for me. While I have only just begun to make reduction prints, the possibilities of adding more and more layers and colors and complexity is overwhelming.
