In Myanmar, I discovered adhesive vinyl. I bought tons of the stuff in different colors, and cut out shapes to make stickers which I posted lovingly around town.

 

The leftovers became collages on the back of a long Burmese calendar I was given at the new year. These collages inspired me to create more intentional compositions using the same concepts of spacing out disparate shapes in an orderly way.

In 2023 I pulled out my sheets of vinyl again to revisit the task of arranging and spacing disparate shapes.
