I started this tapestry in July, after teaching weaving camp at Living Arts Tulsa. I had a glimmer of inspiration and a lot of leftover yarn. I spend so much time in the summer months cycling up and down the river parks trail, meeting up with friends, and drinking fizzy water. I love the dense foliage with varying hues of green, and the browns of the sandy soil in the river when it's low. This tapestry is an homage to summer, cycling, the river parks bike trail, the greenery and the river.
