In late summer of 2023 I started to experiment with acrylics. It was the first time since high school- since I discovered oils that I was using this medium. I am inspired by the work of Hilary Pecis and Andy Dixon. I love that scenes or images of something mundane can be made into colorful wonderlands by simply altering the color scheme and composition a little bit. 

I was also beginning to use digital media around this time and found the idea of using LAYERS applies across both digital and acrylic media quite nicely.
